COURSES

We offer all open circuit courses up to advanced trimix. Inspiration, Evolution and KISS CCR courses. Technical Divemaster and Instructor courses. Our instructors hold “technical Diving International” (TDI) instructor certifications up to Instructor Trainer level. Together they have over 10 years experience technical diving and teaching in the Red Sea. TDI/IANTD is one of the largest technical training agencies in the world with internationally recognized certifications. TDI/IANTD offers state of the art students training materials, training standards and well structured courses.

INTRO TO TECH
Experience diving with a twin set, stage tank and equipment to a maximum depth of 40m. These dives can be credited towards the Advanced Nitrox Course.
Prerequests: minimum age 18 years

ADVANCED NITROX
Theory and 4 dives to a maximum depth of 40m Certifies to divers to use up to 100% oxygen
Prerequisite: Nitrox diver, minimum age 15 years

DECO PROCEDURES
Theory and 4 dives to a maximum depth of 45m (includes 2 decompression dives) Certifies divers to perform staged decompression dives to 45m
Prerequisite:Advanced Diver with min. 25 logged dives, minimum age 18 years

ADVANCED NITROX/DECO PROCEDURES
These two courses can be combined into one 5 day course.
Prerequisite: minimum age 18 years

EXTENDED RANGE
Theory, skills dive and 4 open water decompression dives to a maximum depth of 55m
Certifies students to perform accelerated decompression dives to 55m using air and up to 100% oxygen as deco gasses.
Prerequisite: Decompression procedures diver or equivelent, minimum age 18 years

ENTRY LEVEL TRIMIX
Theory , skills dive and 4 open water decompression dives to a maximum depth of 60m
Certifies divers to perform staged decompression dives using helium based gasses with a minimum of 18% oxygen content.
Prerequisite: decompression procedures diver or equivelent, minimum age 18 years

ADVANCED TRIMIX
theory, skills dives and 4 open water staged decompression dives to a maximum depth of 100m
certifies divers to perform staged deco dives using any helium based gasses
Prerequisite: Extended range diver or entry level trimix diver or equivelent, minimum age 18 years

SOLO DIVER
Theory, skills dive and 2 open water dives
Certifies divers in self sufficient diving techniques to a max depth of 40m Prerequisite Adv open water diver with 100 logged dives
Prerequisite: minimum age 18 years

GUIDED TECH DIVES
We offer excellent guided tech dives to the best deep walls and wrecks as well as mini tailor made tech safaris. You want to dive a particular site, just ask and we can arrange this. With our tech instructors there is no wasted bottom time with bad boat drops!!!!!!

EQUIPMENT HIRE
We offer the very best rental equipment which is always well maintained and serviced by our technical staff. We have banded twin sets, post and stage regulators, 10 and 12 litre stage tanks, wings and backplates. We also have 5 Dolhin SCR units and for the CCR divers, we have 2 evolution vision CCRs one inspiration and one KISS CCR.

Since a while, diving with Rebreathers is getting more significant. The possibility, to have extended bottom times with less gas supply and to enjoy the silence of the sea is attracting more and more divers. Specially UW photographer and videographer are having a lot of advantages, being able to approach to their objects without bubbles.

At Geli & Ute Diving Center, three complete Dräger Dolphin, two Buddy Evolution and one Buddy Inspiration are available.

These are used by our qualified instructors for the courses and are also rented to certified divers. If somebody brings his own equipment, he can do it without the transport of tanks and dive sorb. This can be rented or bought at the Diving Center.

To be able to dive with a Rebreather, a comprehensive education with theory and practice is necessary.
The dealing with different concentrations of EANx and with the semi closed Dräger Dolphin requires a careful preparation and carrying out of the dives.

Not meaning that this way of diving is only reserved for “specialists”, also “beginners” (min. 30 dives) can learn it!

After 3 days education by our authorized instructors you will have the essential knowledge to plan and carry out your dives independently and safely.

For those, who are not quite sure, if they will enjoy “the silent diving”, the Geli & Ute Diving Center offers also try dives.

Another kind of Rebreather Diving is diving with the closed Buddy Evolution. During the course the required theory and practice is imparted to ensure, that the divers can handle the CCR autonomously and safely.
